But, I still think this book would be funny and entertaining for kids a little younger, or a little older. I would recommend this book especially for middle-schoolers (ages 11-14), because they can probably understand, and relate the most to certain things happening in the story. I’m not going to reveal the message now, you’ll have to find it out yourself. And at the end is where you start understanding the moral, which I think is important to anyone who reads this book. It was unexpected, creative and it was a happy ending. Now, I want to talk a little about the ending. I would call it a comedy, because the main character is pretty funny! Invisible Emmie will make you chuckle, if not, it’ll at least give you a little smile. The author doesn’t give readers many details on time or setting. The majority of the book takes place in Lakefront middle school in wintertime. The author made it easy to understand who they are, based on pictures, things they say, and the way Emmie describes them. They create more drama, comedy and each one of them gives the reader different emotions, such as anger, empathy, etc. I think all the main characters make the story a lot more interesting. There are more characters to the story, but they don’t have much importance.

And of course, there’s always that one idiot type character included. There’s also Brianna, Emmie’s best friend, and their crushes, Tyler Ross and Anthony Randall. Of course, Emmie (the main character), is introduced, as well as Katie. There aren’t too many characters that are mentioned in the story.
